Marble statue of Benjamin Franklin, after 1789 statue by Francesco Lazzarini and 1777 bust by Jean-Jacques Caffieri. Statue resides in niche on exterior of APS Library building. Inscribed on base: "B. FRANKLIN/ REPLICA OF THE STATUE BY LAZZARINI/ PRESENTED TO THE LIBRARY COMPANY IN 1792/ BY WILLIAM BINGHAM."
